“Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.” Psalm 16:11
In this verse, we see three things mentioned: a path, a presence, and pleasures.
Life has much to offer, both good and bad. In the Lord we can be assured everything we experience has a purpose.
God has a path for each one of us to follow. No two lives are the same. We have different personalities, different likes and dislikes, and different preferences. But we all have the Lord’s guidance.
God has promised His presence to be with us and He’ll never leave us or forsake us. Whatever comes in life, He will help us.
God’s pleasures are ours to enjoy. He says they are at God’s “right hand” – close by, accessible, handy. Life has many pleasures. All we have to do is look for and enjoy them! Even in trials there are pleasures to enjoy.
