Foot lamps used to be worn at night. They were fastened on the toes and as the person walked, the lamp cast a light on the next step. So God’s Word is a lamp for our way, lighting our feet step by step for our immediate needs just ahead. We can be assured of its light on our path through life. As we take a planned trip mile by mile, so we take our trip through life one step at a time… steps that are ordered by the Lord… steps given to us in His Word… steps that are our light by day and by night and a delight at all times! God’s Word shines bright!
