Having recently lost a lot of my eyesight, I now have a deeper appreciation and desire to see better! The eye doctor says I need to have laser treatment on my cataracts to clean them up. (It is scheduled for the end of June!)
While eating at a local restaurant this past week, I saw a blind man. I didn’t know he was blind until he put on dark glasses and pulled out his long white cane.
The Bible says in Ephesians 4:18 that some folks have a blindness of heart because of a darkened understanding about God and an ignorance concerning the Bible. Praise the Lord: our eyesight may be bad, but we don’t have a blindness of the heart! Romans 10:10 says we must believe in our heart that Jesus died for our sin, was buried, and rose again the third day. Jesus is the light of the world! Once I was lost, but now I can see. What a blessing to know that Jesus loves me!
