Today marks one week prior to Easter Sunday – the Resurrection Day – when Jesus rode into Jerusalem to offer Himself as the King of the Jews! This is remembered by a feast day that commemorates this historical event, the beginning of the week when Christ was crucified on the Passover Day.
As Christians, we celebrate Palm Sunday as the bonafide offer to the Jews of their promised Messiah, their deliverer from God. While the Jews rejected this offer, the saved of both the Jews and Gentiles have received the Lord as their Savior and King, ruling in their hearts and over their lives!
