August is the time the kids go back to school! It is always exciting to meet new teachers, see friends, talk about the summer activities, and, of course, learn some things about education and life.
Unfortunately, many of today’s classrooms have become places where social issues are taught as more important than reading, writing, and arithmetic.
We need to pray for students attending public schools. We are thankful that our state has made logical decisions regarding some of the popular topics.
As Christians, Back to School reminds us that we are to continue to be students of God’s Word.
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15
