Our personal testimony as a Christian is how we came to be a Christian and what effect it has had on us. It is also the evidence displayed in our lives that we are truly what the Bible describes as being a believer in the gospel of Jesus Christ!
This open profession of being a follower of Jesus is backed up by our daily activities and actions. A true believer will do several things:
(1) will read and honor God’s Word
(2) will pray on a regular basis to our Heavenly Father in Jesus’ name
(3) will attend weekly worship services and will unite with a Bible-believing assembly known as a church
(4) will serve the Lord by surrendering to His will and work (and will want to support those efforts financially and in prayer).
Some today say they are a Christian but they never go to church, never read the Bible, never pray, and never do anything to serve the Lord.
Thank the Lord we do love Him and we are not ashamed to tell it and show it! How about you? What is your personal testimony?
