Today is part of God’s life plan for us. Someone has said that “Yesterday is a cancelled check; tomorrow is a promissory note; today is the only cash you have – so spend it wisely!”
It is “cash” that we can only spend once; when it is gone, it can never be reclaimed! We must realize that we need to be doing what the Lord would have us do even in the little things: making a phone call to someone in need, fixing a dish for someone, or giving a smile to someone with a heavy heart. God can use these everyday things to open the opportunity to share Him with others and to minister to their spiritual needs.
