We learn a lesson of confidence, dependence, and tranquility from the birds. They perch on the branches, singing their melodies of cheer without one little anxiety. God’s Word says that the Heavenly Father will feed them. Even the lilies of the field are not concerned about their care. If God does this for the birds and flowers, how much more will He take care of us!
He is aware of all our needs — those of this present moment — and He has promised to provide those things we have need of.
