“This do in remembrance of me…”

NEXT SUNDAY MORNING

The Lord has directed us to fellowship around the Lord’s Table until He comes and takes us home to Heaven! We are privileged to have the opportunity to partake of the supper for the purpose of remembering what Jesus did for us. All true believers are to be involved in this symbolic supper.

The first command was for believers to be baptized showing Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection. The second ordinance we are to observe was to take communion – a wafer that is not leavened and a juice that was not fermented.

On Sunday, September 29, Southgate Baptist Church will do as the Lord said – examine our hearts, ask forgiveness for sins and fellowship around the Lord’s table.
